由于雅思口语考试的考官是nativespeaker，所以想要虏获他们的芳心，就要从自然而地道的对话做起。试想一个，一个外国人在你面前说中文，试图堆砌辞藻，词不达意，作为一个中文的native speaker也是相当尴尬。

所以今天我们带来一系列歪果仁的常用表达，帮助你在雅思口语考试中更加自信满满，更加趋近母语使用者的喜好，更容易get高分。

Introduction

众所周知，见到考官的第一个对话，一般就是自我介绍。

回答Do you have a job?/ are you a student? 

这个问题的时候，除了I  am a college student in XXXX  university/ I am a engineer in XXXX company之外，推荐给大家一个地道的表达：

• 如果你是学生：

I’mgoing graduate/ undergraduate school（研究院/本科院校）, doing my Ph.D/ Bachelor/Master (学位) in Education(专业).  

我在读研究院，学的是教育学博士。

• 如果你在工作：

Well， Ihave graduated from XXX， and now I work in Finance.(我是做金融的)

委婉语 (euphemism)

下面再献给大家一些地道表达的“前世今生”和“中英差距”。

1.“To clear the decks”原来是船只准备作战时清理甲板, 现代英语中仍然用它来表示进行某项行动前做准备工作。（在英国，曾有学生在老师来检查前做准备用过此语！

2.“over the head and ears”本是水手们的语言, 为“灭顶”之意, 后来沿用到over head and ears in debt(深陷债务中), over head and ears in love(深陷爱情中)等等。其它与航海有关的习语如“when one’s ship comes home”（当某人发财时)，“to keep one’s head over water”译为“勉强过日子”，“all at sea”翻译成“茫然不知”。

3.“spend money like water” 表达某人奢侈浪费，在汉语中常常会听到“挥金如土”。 

4.“like mushroom”（像蘑菇一样）表达“雨后春笋”来形容事物的快速发展。

5.在汉语中关于“狗”的习语往往带有贬义，如“狗腿子”，而英文中却有不少关于狗的好的表达，如“alucky dog”（幸运儿）“，Love me，love my dog.”（爱屋及乌）。

6.中国是个农业主导的大国，农业耕田对中国的农民再熟悉不过了，传统的耕田需要牛。所以我们说：“力大如牛”，而英语中则是：“as strong as a horse”。中国人说的“ 鸡皮疙瘩”和英国人说的“ 鹅皮疙瘩” （goose pimples或goose flesh或goose skin)完全同义。

7.又如在描写一个人浑身湿透时, 我们中国人说“ 像个落汤鸡” , 英国人则说“ 像个落汤鼠”(like a drowned rat)。汉语中用“ 狼走千里吃肉,狗走千里吃屎”来表达“ 本性难移”的意思, 而在英语中却用“豹不能改变它身上的斑纹”(the leopard can’t change its spots) 来表达这层意思。

8.英国人在日常生活中使用许多有关“神”、“上帝”的词语，在胸前画十字时, 口中说着Gold bless me; 在骂人时说Gold damn you; 表示惘然时用God knows!。
